We actually discovered Emporium Coffee completely by accident. We were walking through the Oregon District on our way to brunch somewhere else when two kids outside offered us samples of their pastries. We made it a point to grab a coffee when we returned from breakfast. The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere. The interior feels like a genuine celebration of Turkish culture without feeling overly themed. I especially loved the warm wood tones against the stark white walls, the Turkish-inspired patterns incorporated into the arched niches, and the incredible geometric motif across the ceiling. There are so many thoughtful details throughout the space that it’s worth looking around while you’re there. I ordered a Turkish coffee, which was extremely strong. They offered cream and sugar, but I decided to take it as God intended. Definitely not your average cup of coffee, and exactly the kind of thing I wanted to try here. More than anything, though, I loved the vibe. The staff could not have been friendlier, and there was a great mix of people inside—lots of families, couples, and people just hanging out and enjoying the space. This cafe is simply wonderful. My husband got traditional coffee and the team walked him through the process and health benefits of the preparation. It even came with Turkish delight. I got the pistachio latte and it was delicious. It is beautiful atmosphere and very relaxing. Wonderful spot for a morning date. We are lucky to have this gem in our city.

I had an amazing Turkish coffee here! It was rich, authentic, and served the traditional way. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly. If you’re looking for a true taste of Turkish coffee in downtown Dayton, this is definitely the place to visit. I’ll definitely be coming back

The Emporium is gorgeous and inviting. Everyone is so welcoming! The Turkish coffee was exactly what I was hoping for. The Turkish Delight treat that accompanied it was divine. My companion had an iced caramel latte and said it was one of the best she has ever tasted. I will definitely be back…and bring others with me. Thank you for such a wonderful visit.

Love this spot! Super cute and very welcoming. Service is always excellent. Have tried a few different drinks and treats they have to offer and all were 10 out of 10! Definitely a great spot to meet friends for a coffee or do some solo laptop work in a chill environment. Items pictured: Iced Spanish Latte and a Pistachio baklava.
